Welcome to the first Harmonic Downpour newsletter!

If you're reading this, you're probably wondering what I will be writing about, and to that, I say… Good question!

Before I answer that, however, let’s establish the Why first! Why am I doing this? My goal with this is to document my progress and someday look back at where I started and be like, “wow”. For a long time, I was thinking about keeping it private in my journal; however, where’s the fun in that? 

Who is this newsletter/blog for? you may be asking. Well, it’s for anyone! Even you!

Now back to the original question. What am I going to be writing about? Well, to be honest, I have no idea, and that’s completely okay! However, for certain, there will be music-related topics and some helpful things I have learned along the way that you may benefit from! 

Now you're probably wondering who I am to be talking about all this. Well, my name is Freddy Romero (@possiblyfreddy), and instead of boring you with a history lesson, I’ll leave it at that!

What I’ve Been Up To

• Starting Up 🗞 In case you didn't notice, the previous “intro” post came out a few months ago, and well, the time has come to finally get this thing rolling

• Podcast Audio Editing 🎧 Behind the scenes, I’ve been editing a weekly podcast, and wow, have I learned a lot in terms of editing and workflow improvements

• Video Creation 🎥 For those unaware of this, I have a YouTube channel that has been dead for almost a year. What you didn't know is that it’s making a comeback, and I’ve been working on stuff behind the scenes, so stay tuned!

• Website Struggles 🌐 I have been building my website (freddy.so) from scratch for quite a while now. It was already good, but just last week, I decided to start from scratch, and it’s surprisingly close to being finally completed!
